Pip Value Calculator

A pip (percentage in point) is the smallest price move most forex pairs can make. For EUR/USD and most majors, one pip equals 0.0001. For JPY pairs like USD/JPY, one pip equals 0.01 because the yen is quoted to two decimal places.

The pip value tells you how much money you gain or lose for every pip the market moves. This is essential for position sizing: if your stop loss is 20 pips away and your maximum risk is $100, you need to know the per-pip value to calculate the correct lot size.
